One more month to see the Greeks in Ottawa

By Maggie Burnette Stogner on September 14, 2015

Visitors have just one more month to check out the exhibition “The Greeks – Agamemnon to Alexander the Great” at the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa, Canada.Take an extraordinary journey through more than 5,000 years of Greek culture, from the Neolithic era to the age of Alexander the Great. Featuring over 500 exquisite artifacts — many that have never been exhibited outside Greece — from 21 Greek museums, this is the most comprehensive exhibition on Ancient Greece to tour North America in a generation.

The exhibit will be on view until October 12, 2015. For more information on how to visit the show, go to the museum’s website:

http://www.historymuseum.ca/thegreeks/

After “The Greeks” closes in Canada, it will travel to the Field Museum in Chicago, where it will be open from November 26, 2015 to April 17, 2016.
