Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures

By Maggie Burnette Stogner on January 30, 2011

Blue Bear Films produced the award-winning films and animations for the extraordinary Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures exhibition, which has traveled to Washington, D.C.’s National Gallery of Art, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Houston’s Fine Arts Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa. A longer film of the same name aired on PBS. Khaled Hosseini, author of The Kite Runner, narrates both films. The exhibit can be seen at the Bonn Museum in Germany, June 11 to October 12. www.nationalgeographic.com/mission/afghanistan-treasures/
